Yes. DashMail works seamlessly on both personal @gmail.com accounts and professional Google Workspace accounts.
What permissions does DashMail require? ▼
DashMail requests read-only access (gmail.readonly). This allows the extension to read labels and count unread messages to draw your dashboard tiles. It cannot read your password, send emails, or delete anything.
Can DashMail send, modify, or delete my emails? ▼
No. DashMail strictly lacks write or delete permissions. It is technically impossible for the extension to send messages, modify contents, or delete threads.
Does DashMail store my emails on external servers? ▼
No. Your email messages and metadata are processed locally in your browser's memory. Only non-sensitive visual preferences (such as dashboard names, tile colors, and icons) are synchronized via Cloudflare.
